The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Interventional Radiologist to work full-time at Tidelands Health. This role is an employed position within MUSC Health and practices within the Tidelands Health system in Georgetown, Horry, and Williamsburg Counties, the second fastest growing region in the country.
Tidelands Health operates Georgetown Memorial Hospital (131 beds) in Georgetown, SC and Waccamaw Community Hospital (121 beds) in Murrells Inlet, SC, is a community-based, not-for-profit, health system that reinvests millions of dollars each year into our facilities and technology. We are our region’s MUSC Health affiliate. Tidelands Health is dedicated to keeping the communities we serve healthy and active, inside, and outside of the hospital. With four hospitals, and more than 70 outpatient locations, a Tidelands Health facility is always close to home.
Requirements

- Completed an Interventional Radiology Fellowship
- Eligible for medical license in South Carolina
- Ability to perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging services, including mammography, PET/CT, and general IR procedures (biopsies, drainages, injections, etc.)
- High-impact community practice serving a diverse regional patient population
- Collaborative, experienced clinical team dedicated to providing high-quality care to the local community
- Broad, high-impact procedural scope spanning core image-guided procedures and advanced vascular, oncologic, and hepatobiliary interventions
- Modern imaging infrastructure, including single VPN access, Sectra PACS, and PowerScribe dictation
- Dedicated at-home reading workstations provided for remote coverage
