The Graphic Designer – DTP Artist is responsible for the accurate and efficient execution of graphic materials for Museum of Illusions projects. The role focuses primarily on DTP, artwork preparation, layout, adaptation, prepress and production, ensuring that all graphic deliverables are technically correct, visually consistent and production-ready.
Working within established brand guidelines, project requirements and approved design concepts, the DTP Artist adapts and prepares graphics for different formats, locations and production methods. The role works closely with the Lead Graphic Designer, Architectural and Project Management teams, as well as external production partners and vendors.
The position requires a strong understanding of print and digital production, attention to detail, excellent file organization and the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong experience in DTP, graphic production or artwork preparation.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of print production and prepress.
- Excellent knowledge of typography, layout, image resolution, color management and file preparation.
- Experience with large-format printing, signage or environmental graphics is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and technical errors.
- Ability to work within established templates, guidelines and brand standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally when required for project installation and site supervision.
- Proficiency in Blender or other 3D software is considered a strong advantage, particularly for spatial and 3D graphic applications.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in graphic design and production
- Proven mid-level graphic design experience, with a strong focus on DTP and production-ready artwork
- Strong understanding of print production, file preparation, prepress, and technical specifications
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and translate 2D designs into 3D/spatial applications
- Excellent command of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Excellent English comprehension and communication skills (C1 level or above preferred)
- Excellent command of MS Office
- Experience with 3D and spatial graphics is considered a strong advantage
- Highly organized, independent, and proactive
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong visual and technical understanding
- Able to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
- Willingness to travel internationally when needed to supervise graphic installation and ensure correct implementation on site
