The HR Generalist provides comprehensive day-to-day HR support across a range of HR functions. This role is primarily focused on operational execution, ensuring smooth HR processes, accurate documentation, and consistent support to employees and managers. A strong understanding of HR information systems (HRIS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools is essential for success in this position. Familiarity and hands-on experience with Workday will be considered a strong advantage. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR team and line managers to implement policies, procedures, and programs in line with company standards.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- →Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on HR processes in line with company policies and labor law.
- →Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and other HR documentation.
- →Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- →Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordination of induction activities and exit procedures.
- →Assist with day-to-day HR administration, including time and attendance, leave management, and HR reporting.
- →Maintain and update the Workday HR information system (HRIS) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- →Troubleshoot issues and provide support to employees and managers in using Workday.
- →Support payroll preparation by providing necessary employee data and documentation.
- →Assist with benefits administration and liaise with external providers when needed.
- →Ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently across the organization.
- →Stay up to date with employment legislation and assist in implementing necessary changes.
- →Contribute to process improvements and participate in HR projects as assigned.
