Since opening in Paris in 2019, it has captured the hearts of visitors of all ages!

Dedicated to optical illusions, the museum combines entertainment with education.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome Museum of Illusions visitors with professionalism, courtesy, and a smile.
  • Provide information and guidance to help visitors make the most of their experience.
  • Manage visitor flow to minimize waiting times.
  • Sell admission tickets, merchandise, and additional services.
  • Check admission tickets to prevent fraud.
  • Handle cash register operations and payments.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the quality of visitor reception and the overall museum experience.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in French and English (a third language is a plus).
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with visitors and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and cash handling procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Good understanding of museum operations.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and ticketing software.
  • High school diploma (Baccalauréat) or a two-year post-secondary qualification (Bac+2), preferably in tourism, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Significant experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of availability and flexibility (including weekends and public holidays).
  • Energetic, proactive, and able to take initiative.
