Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee

We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX DH Baker Dental Laboratory in Traverse City, MI.  

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. 

• →Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
• →Scan model work into 3shape System following standard operating procedures
• →Insure all steps are followed to insure consistent, accurate results
• → Verify Scan is correct and materials have been entered correctly
• →Read and review all paperwork on each case for correct information
• →Pre-stain units following SOP directions
• →As abilities progress, may include introduction to designing of products
• →All other duties as assigned

• Strong Computer skills
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain and execute on written and verbal instructions
• High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and managers
• Multi-task oriented

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent      
• Must be computer literate

• Computer and scanning equipment
• Additional related materials or equipment, as required
• Personal protective equipment, as required

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and or reach
• Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions
• Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail and color
