~1 min read- →Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
- →Pour models from impressions received from doctors in the proper material
- →Number all models and impressions with case number
- →Pindex models and place pins in dies
- →Saw out dies using proper technique to make dies removable for fabrication
- →Place models on appropriate type of articulator using correct technique
- →Articulate models by using bites sent by doctor or hand articulating to correct bite relationship
- →Check case for correct doctor information, finish date, product, metal type and fabrication questions that need to be called on the next day
- →Clean work area daily
- →All other duties as assigned
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Detail oriented
- Patience for repetitive tasks
- Ability to work closely with others and share equally in the workload
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Flexibility in dealing with varied work hours due to fluctuating work loads
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
- No experience required; paid training will be provided
- Wet grinders
- Hand pieces
- Coping saws
- Bard parker knives
- Steamers
- Acetone
- Die separator
- Accelerator
- Glue
- Die hardener
- Lathe

- Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation
