Key Duties Include:
- Assist potential and current child care providers in achieving and maintaining compliance with state child care licensing requirements.
- Monitor licensed centers and homes to assess compliance with regulatory standards and document findings.
- Investigate reports of violations, including allegations of unlicensed child care operations, and determine appropriate follow‑up actions.
- Evaluate facility practices and environments to identify non‑compliance and provide guidance for corrective measures.
- Conduct interviews, gather information, and review documentation when investigating complaints or alleged violations.
- Communicate regulatory requirements to providers in clear, professional language to support consistent understanding and application.
- Use computer software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare reports, maintain records, and complete required documentation.
- Manage daily work independently in a home‑based environment while maintaining timely communication with supervisors and providers.
- Support child care providers in resolving compliance issues by offering consultation and technical assistance.
- Maintain professionalism and composure while working in stressful or sensitive situations involving providers or families.

Master's degree in a discipline relative to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of related experience
