Working knowledge of nursing techniques, procedures, theory and practices, sanitation, personal hygiene, basic health and safety practices.
Working knowledge of proper dosage, effects and contraindications.
Skill in routine medical procedures to include basic wound care, taking vital signs, checking weights and obtaining specimens.
Skill in preparing and administering medications, observation and evaluation of individuals' condition(s).
Possess ability to respond to potentially life-threatening situations in a calm and orderly manner.
Per G.S. 126-5(c1) (37), This Position Is Exempt From All Provisions of NC General Statute Chapter 126 (State Human Resources Act) With The Exception of Articles 6 and 7.
Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus
To qualify for the Sign-on Bonus, a newly hired permanent full-time or permanent part-time employee must work 30 to 40 hours per week to be eligible. Those who are eligible and working less than 40 hours a week will receive a prorated rate.
