Miami Worldcenter is seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Loading Dockmaster to oversee the daily operations of the property's loading dock and service areas.

The Loading Dockmaster will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, vendor access, tenant move-ins and move-outs, and overall loading dock traffic while maintaining a safe, organized, and professional environment.

This position serves as a key point of contact between property management, tenants, vendors, delivery personnel, security, and building operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable enforcing property procedures, and capable of managing multiple deliveries and operational requests in a busy mixed-use environment.

Responsibilities

  • →Manage and oversee daily loading dock operations, including incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  • →Coordinate delivery schedules with tenants, vendors, contractors, security, and property management.
  • →Verify that deliveries, move-ins, move-outs, and vendor activities have received proper authorization before access is granted.
  • →Maintain an accurate daily log of deliveries, vendors, vehicles, and loading dock activity.
  • →Direct trucks and delivery vehicles to appropriate loading and unloading areas.
  • →Monitor loading dock capacity and prevent congestion, unauthorized parking, or extended vehicle staging.
  • →Ensure loading dock doors, gates, corridors, and service areas remain secure and properly maintained.
  • →Enforce established loading dock hours, access procedures, and property rules.
  • →Confirm vendors and contractors meet property access requirements prior to beginning work.
  • →Work closely with Security and Property Operations to address unauthorized access or operational concerns.
  • →Maintain clear fire lanes, emergency access areas, service corridors, and loading zones.
  • →Conduct routine inspections of the loading dock and immediately report damage, safety hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual activity.
  • →Help prevent damage to loading dock doors, walls, elevators, gates, and other property equipment.
  • →Maintain a clean, safe, and professional loading dock environment.
  • →Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, contractors, delivery drivers, and property management.
  • →Assist the Property Operations team with additional operational responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in loading dock operations, logistics, property operations, facilities, security, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliveries and requests simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable enforcing property policies and procedures consistently.
  • Ability to remain professional and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer, email, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with management.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a must
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in South Florida weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely navigate active loading and service areas.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 30 lbs.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their area and understands that the loading dock is a critical part of property operations. The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual, organized, safety-conscious, professional, and confident when communicating and enforcing procedures.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain an efficient loading dock operation while providing a high level of service to our tenants and vendors.
