Autism Coach (Amesbury, MA)

• →Provide individualized supports to clients for the purpose of fostering community inclusion, community building, and independence
• →Teach specific skills and behaviors, such as executive functioning skills and appropriate relational boundaries, in accordance with the goals, objectives, and strategies identified in the individual's plan
• →Communicate with supervisor regularly regarding progress, challenges, and goals
• →Complete and submit all necessary paperwork, including time sheets and incident reports, in a timely manner and in accordance with program and agency policies
• →Use personal vehicle, when applicable, to transport the individual to goal-related community activities
• →Provide mandated reporting consistent with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 119, Sections 51A-51G

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field required; Master's degree in a relevant field preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with an individual with disabilities
• Excellent and demonstrated interpersonal and team-building skills
• Comfort working in home or community-based environments
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to stand for 80% of the day
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employment
