Director of Nursing, Residential Division

• →Ensures nursing services provided meet the acute, episodic, and long-term care needs of individuals by designing, implementing, and evaluating service systems that promote high quality health care.
• →Supervises the performance of nursing staff through direct observation, report reviews, supervision meetings, and collaboration with program directors s to ensure competency in practice. Assures the clinically complex evaluation and admission procedures are always followed.
• →Oversees Nursing Department activities by setting performance guidelines and reviewing performance to ensure that adequate care coordination and services are being provided to the individuals.
• →Collaborates with other supervisory and management personnel by meeting on a regular and as-needed basis to identify and resolve issues related to staff supervision, training, and individual service needs.

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed and maintained by the State Board of Nursing in Massachusetts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Minimum three years nursing experience including prior experience in the direct care of the elderly or disabled adults is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of MAP (medication administration program). Prior experience developing training and ensuring compliance with MAP.
• Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulation and guidelines that pertain to disabilities.
• Experienced leader with strong clinical skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office, electronic health records, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Monday through Friday 9 am - 5 pm

The approximate pay range for this role $115,000 - $130,000 annually.
