Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented, passionate, and energetic individual to join us as an Inpatient Pharmacy Specialist for our OR unit. This is a great position for those who want to utilize their clinical skills and expertise in pharmacy operations. You will be well supported by other pharmacists and a dedicated team of technicians. This specific position will work at Bellevue Medical Center.

(Also known as: Pharmacist, Inpatient Pharmacist)

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.  

  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program, as deemed appropriate for patient facing roles and relevant to practice.

  • American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency preferred. 

  • Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.
