Distribution Supervisor

• →Perform routine warehouse and departmental procedures.
• →Adhere to ISO guidelines in daily activities.
• →Train new employees.
• →Participate in brainstorming sessions to streamline routine activities.
• →Meet individual and departmental goals and objectives.
• →Lead special projects as assigned by Manager.
• →Ability to work flexible shift, which could include overtime.
• →Interact routinely with management in an effective manner.
• →Actively participate in employee performance review processes.
• →Oversee operation of daily activities.
• →Supervise activities of departmental employees.
• →Cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• →Must Maintain a valid driver license at all times.
• →Monitoring of performance levels of the departmental employees.
• →Resolves conflict effectively.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

3-5 years related work experience.  Supervision experience in a warehouse environment is necessary.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, transfer logs, and shipping instructions, and procedural documents.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform routine, high school level mathematical operations.

Computer Skills: Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, SAP experience preferred as well as the ability to effectively communicate electronically.
