nesto is Canada’s leading digital residential mortgage lender, offering Canadians the lowest rates from the get-go — with total transparency and no haggling.

As Canada's pioneer in online mortgage lending, nesto is transforming the way Canadians finance their homes. Our mission is to offer a positive, empowering, and transparent property financing experience, simplified from start to finish.

Borrowers benefit from rates that are often lower than those offered by the big banks, along with an exceptional end-to-end mortgage experience powered by best-in-class AI technology. Fast, simple, and fully digital, nesto has been recognized as CLA Lender of the Year for three consecutive years. That's the bright side of mortgages.

Nesto Group is Canada's leading provider of mortgage technology and financing solutions, with more than CAD $80 billion in residential and commercial mortgages under administration. Trusted by many of the country's leading financial institutions, we combine over 50 years of mortgage expertise with proprietary cloud and AI technology to transform the future of lending.

Powered by our proprietary cloud and AI technology, nesto has become one of Canada's fastest-growing mortgage lenders, gaining market share across direct-to-consumer (D2C) residential lending, the broker channel, and multi-family commercial lending. Recognized as one of Deloitte's Fast 50 companies for three consecutive years, we continue to push the industry forward through innovation, technology, and customer-focused solutions.

Operating through our family of brands—CMLS, nesto, and Nesto Cloud—our mission is to build Canada's mortgage ecosystem of the future and create a true Canadian champion in lending technology and financial services. Learn more at: https://nestogroup.ca/

About the Role

~1 min read

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead 0→1 product development on one of nesto's most strategic bets. In this role, you'll own the vision, roadmap, and execution for a new financial product — defining what we build and partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM to bring it to life.

The right person has strong instincts for complex financial workflows, thrives in ambiguity, and can translate the needs of buyers and users into product decisions that create durable value. This is a senior, highly cross-functional role — you'll work across product pillars and partner teams to build something that meaningfully expands what nesto can offer Canadians.

Responsibilities

  • →Own the Product Vision — Define and execute the end-to-end product strategy for a new product, from concept through launch and scale. Translate the opportunity into a clear roadmap and drive alignment across the organization.
  • →Lead 0→1 Development — Navigate the full arc of new product development: deep customer and market discovery, scoping, prioritization, iterative building, and go-to-market readiness. Make crisp decisions in the face of uncertainty.
  • →Cross-Functional Leadership — Work closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Risk, Compliance, and GTM to ensure every work stream is aligned. Be the connective tissue across teams.
  • →Commercial Acumen — Partner with GTM and leadership to translate new capabilities into positioning, sales enablement, and customer-facing narratives. Understand how the product creates business value, not just user value.
  • →Define Success — Establish the right metrics for product health, adoption, and impact. Use data to drive iteration and build the feedback loops that keep the team focused on what matters.
  • →Stakeholder Influence — Communicate clearly and persuasively with stakeholders at all levels — from engineers deep in implementation to executives making strategic bets. Bring clarity through complexity.
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years at a Senior PM level at a high-growth technology company.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning and successfully launching complex new products, ideally in fintech, financial services, or data-intensive domains.
  • Experience building products that handle sensitive data with rigorous security, compliance, and access control requirements — you understand what it means to build responsibly in a regulated environment.
  • Strong technical acumen — ability to engage deeply with engineering on system design, data pipelines, and architecture without losing sight of the customer problem.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across functions and levels.
  • Proven ability to operate with clarity and conviction in ambiguous, fast-moving environments — you don't wait for perfect information to move.
  • Sharp product sense and a high bar for quality — you sweat the details while keeping the big picture in view.

Nice to Have
