Title: Floral Designer
Starting Hourly Rate $25 per hour 
Location: Van Nuys, CA 91405
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday availability is required, with flexibility to schedule the remaining hours Monday through Friday. 

Aldik Home is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Floral Designer to join our team! This role is ideal for someone with a passion for floral design, home décor, and creating beautiful arrangements that elevate a space. The Floral Designer will primarily work with artificial flowers to design custom arrangements, centerpieces, and seasonal displays, including holiday decorations and decorative garlands. 

The ideal candidate has professional floral design experience, a strong eye for color and composition, and the ability to bring creative concepts to life. This is a full-time, in-person position that requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Weekend availiability is required (Saturday and Sunday) 

• Design and create custom arrangements using artificial flowers, greenery, and decorative elements. 

• Create centerpieces, garlands, and seasonal displays for a variety of home décor settings. 

• Develop beautiful holiday arrangements and Christmas decorations, incorporating seasonal trends and creative design concepts. 

• Assist customers with floral and décor selections, offering thoughtful recommendations that complement their style and space. 

• Help merchandise and style floral arrangements and home décor displays throughout the showroom. 

• Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and attention to detail in every design. 

• Stay current with floral design trends, seasonal styles, and home décor inspiration. 

• Collaborate with the team to support showroom needs and seasonal projects, especially during the busy holiday season. 

What You’ll Need to Succeed: 

• A minimum of 2 years of professional floral design experience. 

• Experience working with artificial flowers is a plus. 

• Christmas decorating and holiday design experience are highly desirable. 

• A strong eye for color, texture, scale, balance, and overall visual presentation. 

• Creativity and the ability to translate ideas into polished, visually appealing arrangements. 

• Strong communication and customer service skills. 

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
