As Segment Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in driving market adoption and design-in success for Nexperia's BG ICS portfolio across Automotive, Industrial Automation, Robotics, and related applications.
Working at the intersection of technology, marketing, and customer engagement, you will own the system-level product positioning and market adoption strategy for your assigned market segments. You will translate deep technical and application-level knowledge into compelling customer value propositions that accelerate product adoption in target end applications.
You will work closely with account teams, regional marketing managers, application engineers, and customers to identify opportunities, maximize socket design-ins, and expand Nexperia's presence in strategic reference designs.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence technology adoption, engage directly with design engineers and system architects, and drive growth within key industrial and automotive markets.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Collaborate with Account Managers, Regional Marketing Managers, and Field Application Engineers to increase and accelerate BG ICS opportunity pipelines across customers in target market segments.
- →Translate component features into clear system-level benefits that address customer challenges in Automotive and Industrial Automation / Robotics applications.
- →Develop technical marketing content including application notes, reference designs, customer presentations, and solution collateral.
- →Maximize BG ICS portfolio presence in critical reference designs and strategic customer opportunities.
- →Drive customer preference and stimulate design-ins through strong system-level knowledge.
- →Build direct relationships with design engineers and system architects while developing a deep understanding of key application trends and customer needs.
- →Support marketing initiatives that increase socket identification, design-ins, and design-win success.
- →Partner with System Engineers and Regional Marketing teams to capture success stories and scale knowledge across the organization.
- →Create technical content that drives awareness and engagement within engineering communities and customer organizations.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor markets, customer applications, and industry trends, particularly within Automotive and Industrial Automation / Robotics.
- Solid knowledge of power management and/or analog signal chain semiconductor technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop market strategies and compelling value propositions that support business growth.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and commercial audiences.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and build collaborative relationships in a global organization.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify market opportunities and customer needs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for driving design-in and design-win success.
- Strong project management and execution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across regions, cultures, and matrix organizations.
- Willingness to travel internationally (30%+).
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering required.
- Advanced Engineering and/or Business qualification is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, Application Engineering, or a related semiconductor function.
- Experience with Power Management, Signal Chain, and related semiconductor technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor applications, customer design cycles, product positioning, and application-focused marketing strategies.
- Ability to influence cross-functional global teams and engage effectively with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Achievement of design-in and socket identification targets within assigned market segments.
- Increased BG ICS presence in targeted end-application reference designs.
- Successful collaboration with application teams to maximize BG ICS content in target applications.
- Development and execution of application-focused marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
- Generation of customer insights, market intelligence, and competitive analysis that support business and product strategy.
