Diesel Mechanic

• →Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• →Use of torque wrenches, air powered tools or hand tools.
• →Use of arms in a raised position above shoulder level for prolong periods of time. Use of creeper or rolling device to enable tech to work underneath vehicle.
• →The employee frequently is required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• →The employee is required to stand and sit for extended periods of time (hours) while making repairs.
• →Entry or exit from the cab of the vehicle.
• →Climb to a safe position to access the engine compartment area, firewall or roof of a vehicle to perform repairs.
• →The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• →Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• →Ability to push/pull large tool chest from vehicle to vehicle.
