Responsibilities

→Performs a variety of duties in the manufacturing, space flight hardware areas.
→Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
→Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
→Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
→Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
→Exclude technicians working in Production or Quality Assurance
→Basic knowledge in 3D Printing or Robotics.

Requirements

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher

Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027
Be majoring in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite.

At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.

Bachelors: $26.75 - $32.50

Masters: $38.00 - $40.00
