The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking experienced PC Network Support to join its dynamic team of technical professionals on the Second Shift. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems support team at our Palmdale, CA location.
This is a second shift position, requiring the selected candidate to work from Monday through Thursday on-site in Palmdale, CA from approximately 1:00PM to 11:00PM local.

Associate’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 2 years of relevant experience is required

Must have a DOD 8140 security certification (examples: Security+ CE or greater)

Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret clearance in order to be considered

Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment

Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods
Requirements

Must have a DOD 8140 security certification (examples: Security+ CE or greater)
Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret clearance in order to be considered
Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment
Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods
Bachelor’s degree
Active DOD Top Secret, SCI, or SAP/SAR access is preferred
3 years of experience with IT related hardware in a classified environment
Microsoft Certifications (MCP, MCSE or MCSA) a plus
Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs, SCCM, PowerShell
Experience with thin clients
Experience in Active Directory configuring user and computer accounts
Cross-platform experience (i.e. two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)
Experience supporting VMware VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory administration, and LAN/WAN networking

Primary Level Salary Range: $51,400.00 - $85,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $61,100.00 - $101,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
