Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Chief Product Owner (CPO) to lead and enable multiple Software development feature teams to implement high-level business goals across a Ground System product line supporting multiple constellations.

Owns and Maintains the Integrated Capability Roadmap:
Work with Project Leads to prioritize Features and Capabilities
Work with the Chief Engineer to ensure Capability and Technical Roadmaps alignment
Ensure priorities are aligned with the Customer’s needs and Program strategy
Engage in communication with Project Leads to ensure customer satisfaction and priorities
Work with Feature Team POs, Architects, and Project Leads to break down Capabilities into Features that teams can execute
Work with SEIT, POs, Architects, and Project Leads to ensure completeness of Features and Capabilities
Accountable to ensure Features contain stories to perform all work required for Definition of Done
Accountable to ensure Acceptance Criteria defined by the Project Leads are adequately defined, understood, and testable
Work directly with the POs to ensure compliance with the roadmap and the roadmap is effectively communicated to the POs
Accountable for ensuring consistency and compliance of all the work POs are doing (Feature/Story/AC definition, Feature Acceptance, etc.)
Present contents going into the Joint Release at the Gate Review to provide the context and purpose of each JR item. Gate Reviews are a joint effort between CPO and I&T Lead.
Responsible for attending the weekly tag-up with the customer, Joint Working Group meetings, and Product Line customer-facing meetings, but they are not expected to be the voice of the product line.

Primary Level Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
