Senior Professional Services Engineer

So, what’s the role all about?
Join our Singapore Professional Services team and help financial institutions turn business and regulatory needs into practical solutions. You will work with APAC clients and regional colleagues across the delivery lifecycle, from analysis & design through testing and implementation. 

How will you make an impact?

• Implement AML and financial crime technology solutions for customer delivery projects. 
• Develop, configure and support custom components using Java, JavaScript, SQL, scripting and API integrations. 
• Design and implement integrations with customer systems, internal platforms and third-party services. 
• Write clean, secure, efficient and maintainable code aligned with delivery quality standards. 
• Support deployment, troubleshooting and operational readiness across on-premises, cloud platforms and container-based environments where applicable. 
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, product and project teams to shape practical solution options and support delivery. 
• Communicate clearly with client and internal stakeholders, helping maintain alignment from the sales handover through delivery. 
• Build knowledge of NiCE Actimize solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. 

Have you got what it takes?

• 8+ years of solution implementation experience within the financial services industry, such as banking, brokerage or insurance. 
• Experience working with clients in a Professional Services, technology delivery, or enterprise software implementation environment. 
• Confident communication skills with the ability to engage clients and collaborate with internal teams in English. 
• Strong custom development experience, preferably with Java, with exposure to JavaScript, scripting and API-based integrations. 
• Strong SQL experience for implementation, troubleshooting, data analysis and performance tuning using MSSQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL. 
• Able to translate functional and business requirements into technical specifications and implementation tasks. 
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ownership mindset and ability to work independently across multiple workstreams. 

Good to have:

• Knowledge of Actimize or similar AML, fraud, compliance, risk or financial crime solutions is an advantage. 
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms, Docker and Kubernetes, YAML manifests, GitHub, Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline practices. 
• Exposure to application servers, web servers, Unix environments and command-line operations. 
• Interest in AI-enabled delivery automation or tools that improve implementation efficiency.

• Clients receive reliable, well-tested implementation deliverables that meet approved requirements. 
• Technical designs, configurations, code changes and integrations are clearly documented and easy for project teams to use. 
• Data, integration, deployment and performance risks are identified early and managed proactively. 
• Technical issues are investigated, communicated and resolved in a structured and timely manner. 
• You continue to grow your technical depth across NiCE Actimize solutions, AML implementation practices and cloud-based delivery models.
