Maintenance Tech

The Point Casino & Hotel is looking for a dependable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team!

In this hands-on role, you'll help keep our property, equipment, and facilities operating safely and efficiently. This position is a great fit for someone with experience in general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, carpentry, and equipment repair.

  Perform general maintenance, repairs, and fabrication projects throughout the property

  Respond to maintenance and service calls in a timely manner

• →

  Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems

• →

  Install, repair, maintain, and replace machinery and equipment

• →

  Troubleshoot equipment and identify mechanical or electrical issues

• →

  Assist with electrical wiring, fixtures, conduit, switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels

• →

  Repair and maintain the physical structure of the property

• →

  Perform basic carpentry and woodworking projects

• →

  Maintain tools, equipment, and shop inventory

• →

  Help maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment

• →

  Work with other departments to help keep daily operations running smoothly

• →

  Perform additional duties as needed

• Valid driver's license and insurance

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and three years of engineering/facilities-related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Knowledge or experience with electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and breakers

• Carpentry and woodworking skills

• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using tools

• Maintenance and repair experience with kitchen equipment and systems

• Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III Gaming License through the Port Gamble S'Klallam Gaming Commission

This is an active, hands-on position. Candidates must be able to frequently stand and walk, perform repetitive hand movements, bend, reach, crouch, and perform heavy lifting of up to 100 pounds.

This position works primarily indoors with occasional outdoor work. The casino environment can be loud and stimulating, and smoking is permitted inside the casino facility.
