Responsibilities

→Administer and maintain Oracle databases, including RMAN backups and restores
→Execute patching, installs, and routine server maintenance
→Implement and test failovers and recovery procedures
→Triage and troubleshoot Oracle and MS Access issues
→Help users build and configure databases
→Work ServiceNow tickets and RFCs within SLAs
→Monitor systems with Idera and SolarWinds and tune alerts
→Contribute to weekly activity reports

Requirements

4+ years of database administration experience, primarily Oracle
Experience with RMAN, PL/SQL, and Oracle Grid
Exposure to SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and MS Access
Experience creating and managing standalone Oracle databases
Solid scripting and automation skills
