Responsibilities

→Administer and maintain Oracle databases, including Oracle Grid and RMAN backup and recovery
→Lead patching cycles, software installs, and server maintenance
→Design and test HA/DR and point-in-time recovery
→Tune performance at the optimizer and storage level
→Troubleshoot database and application-level issues, including SharePoint integrations
→Work RFCs and ServiceNow tickets from submission to closeout within SLAs
→Monitor capacity and system health with Idera and SolarWinds
→Mentor the mid-level Oracle DBA and deliver weekly activity reports

Requirements

8+ years of Oracle database administration experience
Hands-on experience with Oracle Grid, RMAN, PL/SQL, and HA/DR
Working knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and MS Access
Experience creating and managing standalone Oracle databases
Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical staff and management

Nice to Have
