North Baldwin Utilities is seeking a dependable Natural Gas Technician with experience in utilities, construction, equipment operation, or related field work to join our Underground Utilities team. This position focuses solely on the installation, repair, and maintenance of underground natural gas systems.

You will work independently and as part of a team to support the safe, reliable delivery of natural gas services. We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in utilities, construction, excavation, equipment operation, or related field work. Previous natural gas experience is not required

Responsibilities

→Install, repair, and maintain underground natural gas distribution systems
→Operate equipment and tools used in gas line excavation and utility work
→Perform system inspections and identify issues
→Respond to natural gas service calls and emergency repairs
→Follow all safety procedures, codes, and regulatory requirements
→Document installations, repairs, and inspections
→Participate in on-call rotation as required

Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Ability to work outdoors and perform physical labor
Experience in utilities, construction, equipment operation, or related field work
