✓Administer client medications and documents accordingly.

✓Maintain current knowledge of house and client activities.

✓Transport clients to and from appointments, intake pickups, discharge drop-offs, etc.

✓Ensure all passengers in the vehicle are compliant, safe, and non-volatile.

✓Plan work tasks to coincide with programming requirements.

✓Set priorities in monitoring clients, making house rounds, documentation of pertinent information and completion of other assignments.

✓Highly dependable and can be counted on to work independently, having the ability to work with little direction.

✓Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of program philosophy and policies and procedures, 245G requirements, house operations, including client rights and confidentiality.

✓Assist counselors with intake/admission procedures, orientation of new clients and co-workers.

✓Encourage clients to achieve their goals by functioning as a positive role model.

✓Participate in client recreational activities with a positive attitude.

✓Serve as a resource for clients through knowledge of services and opportunities in the community.

✓Documentation of client information in the communications log and completion of other forms.

✓Objectively document client related topics in client files and communication logs.

✓Be diplomatic and exhibiting sensitivity toward other staff and client’s feelings, needs, values, and opinions.

✓Complete clerical assignments such as faxing, copying programming materials, stocking packets/forms, typing documents in Word and updating Excel spreadsheets.

✓Assist in food preparation, and household cleaning duties as needed.

✓Adhere to attendance and absence policies.

✓Punctual in reporting for work and shift change reports.

✓Participate in rotational and/or off-shift schedules, including a holiday rotation schedule, as applicable.

✓Able to work additional hours/off-shift as needed.

✓Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

✓CPR/First Aid Certification or attain within 30 days of employment

✓Must be able to pass a background check

✓Knowledge of all MN Statutes related to providing services for the population NBHN serves, and willingness to learn, understand, and carry out regulations with integrity

✓Must understand and follow NBH's Drug and Alcohol Policy

✓Must be at least 18 years old.

✓Proficient computer skills, including knowledge in MS Office, and Google Suite programs
