About the role
The Student Support Officer provides administrative support to the VET team, helping coordinate student processes, support progression and acts as a key contact for students and stakeholders. The position reports to the Operations Manager, Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Support day-to-day administration, maintain student records, and assist with student course enquires.
- →Maintain accurate student files and registers in line with compliance requirements.
- →Respond to student and stakeholder enquiries.
- →Support process improvements and comply with University policies.
- →Keep program information current across relevant systems and portals.
Requirements
~1 min read- Relevant degree or equivalent experience, education and training.
- Administrative experience in Vocational Education and Training or a Registered Training Organisation environment, with knowledge of ASQA, training packages and government-funded programs.
- Strong Microsoft Office, LMS and CRM system skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, show attention to detail, solve problems and use initiative.
