Job Summary:

Performs filling, sealing, labeling, and packaging operations for various ampule and vial control products in accordance with written procedures and verbal instructions. Accurately records production activities and maintains required documentation in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

o Set up filling equipment according to established procedures and equipment specifications.
o Operate and monitor filling equipment, including loading and unloading products.
o Ensure products are properly filled, sealed, labeled, packaged, and quarantined as required.
o Complete all production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
o Maintain the filling area and equipment through routine cleaning, batch changeovers, preventive maintenance, and calibration work orders.
o Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality System Regulations (QSR), and company safety requirements.

Experience Requirements:

o Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, and follow written and verbal instructions.
o Basic mathematical and counting skills.
o Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and operate manufacturing equipment safely.
o Working knowledge of Quality System Regulations (QSR), OSHA safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
o Experience in automated vial, bottle, or ampule filling operations is preferred.
o 0 to 2 years of experience operating filling or packaging equipment in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or medical device environment preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

o Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in both seated and standing positions for extended periods.
o Ability to operate and work with manufacturing equipment, hand tools, and gauges, including vial fill/plug/cap systems, crimp cappers, ampule fillers, labelers, syringe fillers, shrink banders, sterilizers, and automated tray systems.
o Demonstrates adaptability, a positive attitude, and the ability to operate manual pallet jacks.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Work Location: Waltham, Mass, on-site: 2nd Shift

Targeted Salary Range: $24.50-$26.00
