Job Summary:
Perform testing of various calibrators, controls, and additional reagents required to support company product and OEM analyzers, by means of verbal and/or written instruction under the supervision of the Group Leader/Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop proficiency in the setup, qualification, operation, and troubleshooting of various analyzers and laboratory equipment.
- Accurately record test results and communicate reagent and control specification status to the Test Lab Group Leader/Supervisor.
- Develop proficiency in laboratory techniques, including titrations, pH measurements, flame photometry, microbial culture testing, and viscosity measurements.
- Maintain the Test Lab in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
- Receive and appropriately manage reagent packs and supplies for the department.
Experience Requirements:
- Ability to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Entry-level knowledge of Quality System Regulations (QSR).
- Entry-level knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
- Entry-level knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Perform work that may require extended periods of standing and sitting, as well as frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, twisting, turning, and climbing steps.
- Lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds several times per hour.
- Perform repetitive tasks that may involve movements with arms, wrists, and hands when setting up, operating, and troubleshooting equipment or when using computers.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, bouffant, beard guard, gloves, hearing protection, face shield, and nuisance mask.
- Maintain the hand-eye coordination and visual acuity necessary to perform assigned laboratory tasks.
- Must be able to distinguish colors as required to perform job responsibilities.

Targeted Salary Range: 23.00-25.00
