Job Summary:

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to support Distribution operations at our Waltham, MA facility. This entry-level position is responsible for ensuring finished goods, raw materials, and other inventory are accurately accounted for, processed, and organized according to Nova Biomedical’s standards.

The Warehouse Associate I will perform picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, inventory, and housekeeping activities while following documented procedures and applying sound judgment. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and ship finished goods and raw materials accurately and safely to prevent damage while following established procedures.
• Identify and report discrepancies involving products being picked or shipped.
• Pick material issue tickets to support departments throughout Nova Biomedical.
• Load and unload delivery trucks as required, including shipments received from vendors.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage and document or acknowledge damaged products upon receipt.
• Accurately count, receive, and consolidate products within the SAP warehouse-management system.
• Receive production orders and deliver materials to the appropriate employees or departments in a timely manner.
• Notify Planning when discrepancies are identified involving production orders or materials.
• Receive and ship interplant transfers.
• Consolidate warehouse inventory to maximize available storage space.
• Perform accurate cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials as directed by the Group Lead, Manager, or Supervisor.
• Operate forklifts, walkie pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Use handheld scanners to support warehouse and inventory transactions.
• Maintain the receiving dock, staging areas, and warehouse in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Interact effectively with departments throughout Nova Biomedical and with external vendors, carriers, and freight companies.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 to 1+ year of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Experience with picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or replenishment activities preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, walkie pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment.
• Experience using a handheld scanner preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or another warehouse-management system preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and apply sound judgment when completing assigned duties.
• Ability to take direction and work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
• Ability to interact professionally with internal departments, vendors, carriers, and freight companies.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift and carry up to [25–50] pounds as required.
• Comfort with performing repetitive physical tasks.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, or climb as needed.
• Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature, equipment).
• Proficiency in operating tools, machinery, or technical equipment.
• Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required.

Work Location: Onsite in Waltham, MA | Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Targeted Salary Range: $23 to $24 hourly
