Data Architect - TS/SCI

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to design, implement, and manage a secure, scalable data governance and management framework for enterprise-wide operations within the Department of Defense (DoD). This role is critical to safeguarding sensitive data and aligning with DoD data strategies and directives. You will work onsite in a secure environment with direct access to stakeholders and high-level mission-critical data systems. Roles and Responsibilities: Define and enforce data governance policies, roles, and responsibilities for data ownership, stewardship, and custodianship Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework tailored to DoD enterprise needs Establish robust, secure data management standards ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and compliance throughout the lifecycle Implement data security controls and privacy measures to protect sensitive information Evaluate and propose data governance tools and technologies to enhance system efficiency Standardize data collection and integration processes across multiple data sources within the DoD Design and implement data masking strategies to protect sensitive datasets Ensure alignment with current DoD directives and enterprise architecture standards Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field with 10+ years of experience – or – High School Diploma with 14+ years of relevant experience Active TS/SCI security clearance. Proven experience in data architecture, data governance frameworks, and lifecycle management Strong knowledge of DoD data management policies, compliance, and security standards Hands-on experience with data masking, access control, and data security best practices Proficiency in data integration, metadata management, and governance tools Familiarity with cloud and hybrid data environments (preferred) Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams Benefits Core Benefits: Paid Time Off PTO):TEN (10) Paid days off & FIVE (5) Floating days off.
