Part-Time Nanny Position (Westfield, NJ)

Location: Westfield, NJ
Compensation: $28–$32/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–7:15 PM; Friday, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM (morning availability from 7:30 AM–8:30 AM is a plus)
Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours/week

Overview:
A warm, active family in Westfield, NJ is looking for a reliable, engaging part-time nanny for their two children, ages 8 and 5. You would handle school pickups and the after-school routine: getting the children to their activities, helping with homework, and keeping afternoons fun and structured. The right candidate is energetic, dependable, and confident behind the wheel. They also bring a steady, nurturing presence that makes the kids feel safe and supported.

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 4 paid sick/personal days, gas reimbursement

Responsibilities:

• Pick up the children from school and drive them to after-school activities in your own vehicle
• Supervise the children and engage them in age-appropriate activities after school
• Help with homework and support good study habits
• Follow a strict nut-free protocol because one child has a food allergy
• Manage the after-school routine smoothly and consistently
• Keep the environment safe, nurturing, and positive

Requirements:

• 3–5 professional childcare references
• Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle
• Comfortable driving and managing a busy after-school schedule
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
