Overview
A family in Palm Beach is looking for a seasoned, highly responsible Travel Nanny to care for their soon-to-be 4-year-old on trips and during overnight coverage. You’ll travel with the family, including to their home in New York, and have your own room on those trips. When Mom is away, you’ll stay in the home overnight and keep things running, which includes sleeping in the child’s room. The family already has household support staff in place, so this is a dedicated as-needed role, not a full-time live-in position. The property has horses, dogs, and a pool, so you need to be comfortable around animals and a confident swimmer.

Responsibilities:

• Care for and supervise a soon-to-be 4-year-old during family trips
• Provide overnight care in the home when Mom is away
• Sleep in the child’s room during overnight coverage
• Keep the household running smoothly during overnight and weekend coverage
• Supervise the child safely in and around the pool
• Prepare healthy meals for the child as needed
• Keep the child safe around the family’s horses and dogs
• Drive the child when needed (preferred, not required)

Requirements:

• Extensive professional nanny experience with toddlers and preschoolers
• Highly responsible, mature, and dependable
• Comfortable sleeping in a child’s room overnight
• Strong swimmer
• Comfortable around horses and dogs
• Valid passport required
• Enjoys travel
• Flexible availability for at least two assignments per month, including one weekend per month
• Able to prepare healthy meals for children
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
