TEMP Nanny Position (Redding, CA)

Start Date: December 2026 (through April 2027)
Location: Redding, CA
Compensation: $28–$35/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3–5 days per week, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM (4–6 hours per day)
Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours per week

Overview:
A warm, welcoming family is looking for a caring, experienced nanny to look after their 6-month-old for a short-term, part-time position from December through April. This is a live-out role with daytime hours during the week. The family wants someone attentive and nurturing who is confident with infant care and can keep a calm, steady routine for their baby. Candidates who speak Igbo are a plus but not required. This is a great fit for a nanny who wants a meaningful short-term placement with a supportive family.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for a 6-month-old infant
• Prepare bottles and feed the baby on schedule
• Change diapers, dress the baby, and keep up with daily hygiene
• Keep a consistent nap and sleep routine
• Plan developmentally appropriate activities, including tummy time, sensory play, and reading
• Drive to outings and appointments as needed, using your own vehicle
• Keep baby areas, bottles, and laundry clean and organized
• Share daily updates with parents on feedings, naps, and milestones

Requirements:

• Proven infant care experience
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle
• Fully vaccinated
• Comfortable working in a home with cameras
• Must respect the family’s privacy policy; no photographs of the child or home
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Igbo-speaking a plus
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
