Ensure product quality meets specifications – customer requirements; perform quality inspections as required.
Inspect finished product visually. If required, also inspect using hand-held equipment, flashlight.
Responsible for assuring nonconforming material or suspect nonconforming material is segregated from the rack and identified properly in separate rack.
Accurately record nonconforming products by defect electronically and/or manually.
Pack the windows into racks using proper glass handling techniques.
Must follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain a constant flow of product for the area line.
Assist with off-line containment, inspection, and segregation of product if required.
Ensure the Packing Specifications are followed for each part being packed.
Perform 5S and housekeeping duties to maintain high standard of facility cleanliness.
Fulfill assignments/ tasks given.
Train and encourage others to achieve team goals.
Support safety, health, and environmental rules and lead by example.
All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledgeable in position-specific SOPs
High attention to detail and very customer focused
Ability to work in temperatures of extreme hot or cold based on weather conditions
Physical ability to sit, walk, stand, push, pull, carry, lift, squat, kneel and/or twist
