Children's Activity Attendant - Wellness Center - Rotating

$17.00 - $25.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Children's Activity Attendant - Wellness Center
• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
• Part time, 16 hours/week
• Hours: Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 8am-12pm, rotating Saturday 8am-12pm with the option to pick up Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 3:30pm-6:30pm
• Required Travel: No

What you will do:

• Positive, outgoing, imaginative individual to perform Kids Club Associate responsibilities.
• Supervise play time with children ages 6 months – 12 years, ensuring safety of all participants.
• Help plan and conduct activities for kids.
• Assist Childcare Supervisor with tasks and projects related to Kids Club.
• Light physical activity is required due to picking up children and playing outside in our fenced-in playground.
• Experience with child care preferred.

What you will need:

• The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of a High School diploma.
• CPR/AED Certification through the American Heart Association or within 90 days of hire.
• The interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with children 6 months to 13 years of age, families and other hospital staff members.
