- Position: Clinical Nurse Manager, General Medical Telemetry
- Location: Glenbrook Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
- Hours: Days with rotating hours
- Required Travel: Ability to travel to other sites as needed
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required.
- →Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Master’s degree in Nursing, Business or a Healthcare related discipline preferred.
- →Certification: BLS/CPR certification required, National certification preferred in Medical Surgical or another specialty.
- →Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant clinical setting required. Previous management experience preferred with demonstrated progressive clinical leadership.
- →Skills: Acute care inpatient Medical Surgical and Neurology experience preferred. Ability to manage relationships, patient outcomes, communication, and conflict effectively.
- →Hold 24/7 accountability and responsibility for the professional nursing practice, professional development, performance improvement initiatives, daily operations, and fiscal management for the assigned clinical unit.
- →Adhere to all regulatory compliance bodies.
- →Create a departmental environment that is therapeutic which promotes engagement with our nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
- →Establishes constructive partnerships with peers to promote loyalty for patients, families, nursing, physicians, and employees.
- →Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
- →Leads unit and department quality initiatives using research and evidence-based practice.
- →Promotes the development of critical thinking skills of all unit personnel through appreciate inquiry.
- →Creates and maintains a supportive, resilient, and healthy work environment.
- →Advances practice through the development of innovations and change principles.
