Position: CT Technologist
Location: Evanston Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: Resource/PRN
Hours: 2pm-10:30pm, rotating weekends

Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule

Responsibilities

→Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
→Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required, ARRT Registered required
→License: IEMA license
→Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred
→Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

→Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
→Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
→Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
→Review CT's to ensure optimum quality
