- Position: Department Support Assistant - Labor and Delivery
- Location: Arlington Heights, IL
- Full time, 32 hours/week
- Hours: 7:00am-7:30pm, Every other weekend
- Required Travel: No
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provides front desk coverage which includes answering and directing incoming calls
- →Greeting patients and family members and provide assistance as needed
- →Collecting and distributing department mail
- →Performs related general duties such as monitoring and ordering supplies, submitting work orders, collating and assembling documents,
- →Proficiency with Microsoft applications and other department related systems
- →Highest level of customer service skills
- →Medical terminology knowledge preferred
- →Epic experience preferred
- →Minimum of one year hospital experience preferred
- →High School Degree required
- →BLS (from American Heart Association) required
