Position: Director, Nursing - Inpatient Medical/Surgical
Location: Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full time

Responsibilities

→Accountability and responsibility for professional nursing practice, nursing education, nursing leadership and quality patient care in their assigned areas.
→Responsible for collaborating with numerous ancillary support departments, physicians and administration to achieve identified outcomes of care and quality patient care.

→Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and a master’s degree in nursing, MBA, or other healthcare related discipline required.

→Certification: Board certification preferred. CPR certification required

→Experience: Five years of progressive healthcare management required. Proven success working with program planning, complex problem solving, and moving nursing practice forward in a collaborative model.
→Unique or Preferred Skills: Experience in managing programs and staff to enhance quality, control cost, maintained a customer focus, and effectively lead a group of managers and clinical staff. Must have strong computer skills (MS Office Applications) and excellent communication skills.
