Endo Tech - GI - Days

• Sign-On Bonus:  $7500 with 1 yr Endo/GI experience (parameters apply)
• Position: GI Tech
• Location: Glenview, IL (with the ability to float to other Endeavor locations)
• Full Time
• Hours:  6:30am to 5:30pm M-F - Occasional Sat rotation  - On Call Rotation (including nights/wkends/holidays)

• →Assist under the direction of the RN, in the implementation of the established plan of care.
• →Assist the physician and the RN during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• →Respond to emergency situations. 
• →Responsible for procedure set-up, supply and equipment maintenance, processing and reprocessing of endoscopes and other duties as assigned.
• →Responsible for meeting on-call criteria as defined by the department. The employee is expected to float to other GI Lab locations.

• →Education:
  • →Experience as a Patient Care Tech, Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant highly preferred

• →Certification:
  • →CPR BLS issued by the American Heart Association

• →Experience:
  • →Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy  & medical terminology required
  • →Basic computer experience
  • →Ability to take vitals and perform CPR
