Responsibilities

→Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and medical histories, to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
→Providing evidence-based psychiatric evaluation and medication management for patients with various mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders.
→Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated patient care.
→Monitoring and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes, using a patient-centered and recovery-oriented approach.
→Administering and managing psychotropic medications and therapies, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
→Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations.
→Participating in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment planning sessions to review patient progress and provide recommendations for care.
→Educating and supporting patients and their families, promoting mental health awareness and providing resources for coping and self-management.
→Staying informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing professional development and training.
