MRI Technologist II - Per Diem

·         Position: MRI Technologist

·         Location: Skokie Hospital

·         Full Time/Part Time: Registry/PRN

·         Hours: Varies

·         Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule

·         Required Travel: Local

·         Perform MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures

·         Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort

·         Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality

·         Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed

·         License: ARRT

·         Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program

·         Certification: CPR required

·         Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience required

·         Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
