- Location: Evanston
- Hours: Day Shift, M-F (4 days per week, 7 am start)
- On-Call responsibility, must be able to report to Evanston within 30 minutes
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →IL RN license
- →Graduate of a NLN accredited school of Nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- →CPR: BLS & ACLS required (Issued by American Heart Association)
- →2+ years of critical care experience highly preferred
- →Provide nursing care for Interventional Radiology patients
- →Administer IV conscious sedation and medications under physician direction
- →Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to emergencies, including contrast reactions
- →Start IVs, manage central lines, and perform dressing changes
- →Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and care teams to ensure safe, efficient procedures
- →Coordinate and support daily procedure scheduling and patient flow within the IR lab
- →Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
- →Document all care and procedures accurately in Epic
- →Support quality and safety initiatives, including inventory and equipment readiness
- →Precept and mentor new staff and assist with training of team members
