Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery - Postpartum - ISCU - Resource Team - Night Shift
- Position: Per Diem, Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery and postpartum
- Location: Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals
- Per Diem
- Hours: Night shift 2300-0730 and 1900-0730; weekend and holiday requirements per level agreement
- Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule
- Required Travel: Evanston and Highland Hospital
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for labor and delivery and postpartum patients
- →Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- →Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- →Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- →Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
- →License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- →Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- →Certification: BLS/ ACLS/PALS / NRP Certification for the Healthcare Provider required. (AHA)
- →Experience: A minimum two years of recent acute care clinical experience in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum and/ or ISCU experience required
- →Unique or Preferred Skills: Labor and Delivery and postpartum and /or ISCU experience required
