Position: Telemetry Technician - Mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit
Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus - 155 E. Brush Hill Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126
Full Time: 36 hours per week
Hours: 7:00a.m.-7:30 p.m. (4-5 weekends in a 6 week period) and rotating holiday track

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, monitors cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry of patients to detect abnormal pattern variances via telemetry equipment. Notifies nursing and/or medical personnel according to established procedure. Performs clerical related duties as necessary.

→Education: High School Diploma or GED

→Preferred Certification :
→EKG Certification
→Experience: Minimum three months of previous healthcare or monitor tech experience.
→Must have Telemetry interruption experience
→Must pass initial and ongoing competencies.
→Unique or Preferred Skills:
→Experience monitoring rhythms of anywhere between 50-70 patients
→Experience with Philips Monitoring System
→Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
