- Position: Telemetry Technician - Mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke Unit
- Location: Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus - 155 E. Brush Hill Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126
- Full Time: 36 hours per week
- Hours: 7pm-7am (4-5 weekends in a 6 week period) and rotating holiday track
- Required Travel: no
Responsibilities
~1 min readUnder general supervision, monitors cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry of patients to detect abnormal pattern variances via telemetry equipment. Notifies nursing and/or medical personnel according to established procedure. Performs clerical related duties as necessary.
- →Education: High School Diploma or GED
- →Preferred Certification :
- →EKG Certification
- →Experience: Minimum three months of previous healthcare or monitor tech experience.
- →Must pass initial and ongoing competencies.
- →Unique or Preferred Skills:
- →Experience monitoring rhythms of anywhere between 50-70 patients
- →Experience with Philips Monitoring System
- →Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
