Responsibilities

→Participate in planning and executing culturally significant events and community outreach initiatives, including partnerships with churches, hospitals, nursing homes, and community centers.
→Demonstrate impeccable etiquette and professionalism in every interaction, consistently reflecting NorthStar Memorial Group’s values and compliance expectations.
→Maintain mastery of all product offerings, service processes, and organizational policies to confidently address complex questions from families and the public.
→Actively listen to families and channel meaningful insights to internal marketing and product teams to support continuous improvement.
→Lead, coach, and develop Funeral Arrangers and Care Center Staff, fostering a culture of respect, accountability, communication, and high performance.
→Direct funeral home operations and collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
→Drive achievement of annual case volume and revenue goals while continuously elevating the family experience within the funeral home.
→Select, train, and motivate staff to ensure service delivery consistently exceeds family expectations.

Requirements

Licensed Funeral Director in the state of California or must be able to reciprocate
5+ years of experience in related field
2+ years of management or leadership experience, funeral profession preferred
Excellent customer relations and actively looking for ways to help others
Professional communication and effective leadership skills
