This role is ideal for a BCBA who enjoys focusing on clinical assessments and initial case development without the responsibility of ongoing supervision
The BCBA Assessment Specialist will conduct in-person assessments in clients’ homes, develop treatment recommendations, and collaborate with the internal team to support a smooth transition of cases
Well-suited for clinicians who prefer short-term, focused client interactions and value flexibility and independence

Responsibilities

→Conduct comprehensive ABA assessments (such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and functional behavior assessments) in clients’ homes
→Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
→Complete detailed and timely clinical documentation and reports
→Collaborate with intake and clinical teams to ensure seamless case handoff
→Maintain compliance with all ethical and professional standards

→Ongoing case supervision
→Supervision of RBTs or BTs
→Long-term caseload management

Requirements

Active BCBA certification in good standing
Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field
Experience conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
Strong clinical writing and organizational skills
Ability to travel to client homes within the assigned area
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Experience using a variety of assessment tools
Strong time management skills and ability to work independently in a field-based role
