Jira developer

Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Jira Developer with 5+ years of experience in Jira development, customization, and administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, scripting, and Jira APIs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement custom Jira solutions, including plugins, scripts, and integrations.

2. Customization: Customize Jira to meet business requirements, including workflow development, field configuration, and screen design.

3. Integration: Integrate Jira with other tools and systems, such as Confluence, Bitbucket, and third-party applications.

4. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve Jira-related issues, including plugin conflicts, workflow errors, and performance problems.

5. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for Jira customizations and configurations.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience: 5+ years of experience in Jira development, customization, and administration.

2. Java: Strong knowledge of Java programming language.

3. Jira APIs: Familiarity with Jira APIs, including REST APIs and SOAP APIs.

4. Scripting: Knowledge of scripting languages like Groovy, Python, or JavaScript.

5. Jira Administration: Experience with Jira administration, including user management, group management, and permission schemes.

6. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

7. Communication: Effective communication skills to work with stakeholders, developers, and administrators.

Nice to Have

1. Atlassian Certification: Atlassian Certified Developer or Jira Administrator certification.

2. Confluence: Experience with Confluence development and customization.

3. Bitbucket: Experience with Bitbucket development and customization.

4. Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
